A Better Life For Our Children

This image from the past is one that should never be forgotten because it was a very historical moment in time and a groundbreaking moment in history for our children of color. And if it wasn't for this very day we would still be subjected to segregation in this day and time; but due to one family fighting and wanting more for their child's future in life and determined that she would not be denied a better education in life they risked everything for this to happen. So on that very day we were given a symbol of hope for all children of color from the past to the present. And if this would have not taken place our children would not be able to have the opportunities that they have in this world today.
